Everyone in Indianapolis, IN and the surrounding towns should be able to read this site and send a request, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This page describes how the site works toward that. Last updated October 7, 2026.

What's built in. Pages use headings in order, so screen readers can jump between sections. Images carry text descriptions. Text and buttons are set in colors with strong contrast. Forms have labels, every link and button works from a keyboard, and text can be enlarged without breaking the layout. Nothing plays sound or video on its own, and every page works on a phone.
Known limits. The cost calculator and repair-or-replace quiz run on JavaScript. If either one doesn't work with your setup, the same figures appear in plain text on the cost guide, and the FAQ covers the common questions. Some government documents we link to, such as PDF guides, are published by other offices and may not meet the same standard.
Tell us about a barrier. If any part of the site is hard to use, let us know through the contact page or by calling (317) 555-0168. Mention the page, what went wrong and the browser or assistive tool you were using. We'll work to fix it and, in the meantime, get you the information another way.
